No. AI Subtitle Studio is a one-time purchase. Pay once and use it forever, including free updates. Transcription, syncing and cleanup have no per-use fees because they run on your own hardware; AI translation uses your own DeepSeek API key, billed by DeepSeek directly.

A license can be activated on up to 3 devices at the same time. You can deactivate an old device in the app or on the license portal to free up a slot.

Open the app, go to Settings → License, paste the license key from your purchase email and click Activate License.

Yes. The Sync Subtitles tool uses acoustic alignment (powered by ffsubsync, running locally) to match subtitle timing against the actual audio track, correcting offsets and framerate mismatches automatically.

Yes, natively. AI Subtitle Studio runs on Apple Silicon (M1–M4) and Intel Macs on macOS 12 or newer, and on Windows 10/11 64-bit.
