The app

Video and audio transcription, subtitle syncing, format extraction/conversion and cleanup all run entirely on your device — those files are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. The app contacts our servers only to activate or validate your license key and to check for updates.

AI translation (DeepSeek)

Subtitle translation is the one feature that is not offline. If you use it, the subtitle text you choose to translate is sent to DeepSeek's API using an API key you provide and control, so that DeepSeek's servers can process the translation. Only the subtitle text is sent — never your video or audio files. This happens directly between the app and DeepSeek; we do not see, store or proxy this traffic. Review DeepSeek's own privacy policy for how they handle that data, and avoid using AI translation on subtitle text you don't want leaving your device.

This website

When you buy a license we store your email address, your order details and the license keys we issue to you. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. See the Stripe privacy policy.

License activation

When you activate the app we store a device identifier, a device name, the IP address and user agent of the activation request. We use this only to enforce the per-license activation limit and to let you manage your devices.

Cookies

This website uses only a session cookie required for forms to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
