Settings → About & Credits

A reference screen showing your installed version and crediting the open-source software the app is built on.

What's here

  • The app name, icon, and installed version number — useful when reporting a bug or checking whether you're up to date.
  • Website and Support links, opening in your browser.
  • Third-Party Tools — the external tools manageable from Settings → Dependencies (FFmpeg, whisper.cpp, FFsubsync, Subtitle Edit, MKVToolNix), each with a description, license, and link to its project.
  • Open-Source Libraries — a table of the frameworks and libraries the app itself is built with (Tauri, React, aspasia, serde, reqwest, tokio, Vite, Tailwind CSS), with purpose, license, and project link for each.
  • An FFmpeg attribution notice, as required by its LGPL/GPL license, clarifying FFmpeg runs as a separate process rather than being built into the app.
